For my first post, I wanted to talk about my closet. It is a cluttered hot mess. Why you might ask, its because I have so many clothes to wear and no where to go, lol, but only in my mind of course. You see, I am the type of person that shops when I'm bored. When that happens, I buy clothes and try to imagine events that I may wear the particular outfit. However, if an event finally is near, I don't consider the outfit that I have in my closet, I shop for another outfit. I know that this is every girls problem right??? Well let me add to the situation, I also have all my shoes and clothes from 2005. I know... I know... you might be thinking I'm a hoarder but aren't all fashion lovers hoarders? I honestly am working on cleaning and organizing my closet. A closet can be a direct reflection of your life. If your closet is organized, you are potentially a neat and organized person. If your closet is chaotic like mine, it can mean that there is chaos going on in your life. Maybe this is not true for everyone but for me it is. Right now, my closet is a mess and so am I. I have a lot going on right now and am ready to get more organized, starting with my closet.
Other than that I have lots of fun clothes and I think I have a good eye for fashion. For me, fashion wasn't something I really paid attention to. It just was something that I did. So I always bought what I liked and wore it. It wasn't until others would mention to me or compliment me on how well I dressed that I began to become more conscious of the fashion world and realized that I loved it! Anytime I fill out the hobbies portion of a form, I always write shopping even though it's not considered a hobby by some.
So anyway my closet is the way it is because I love all my clothes and shoes, even the outdated shoes from 2005. Its hard for me to get rid of clothes, especially shoes because I feel as though shoes never go out of style and clothes always reinvent themselves. I'm ready to let go now, especially since I cannot fit any clothes that I have from 2005!
